Hi! My name is Carmeline, Carmie for short. I grew up in a lot of places, but I remember most our home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. My time near the ocean shaped who I am in so many ways. I’ve always been a bit of a random person. After all, I was an ice skater, in Florida. I met my husband and ended up following him around the world. From re-engaging with my Italian roots in Northern Italy to attempting my not so great French in Belgium, I was always able to stay grounded finding a beach and getting the sand in my toes. We finally settled down in North Carolina and I never forget how comforting the ocean has been through so much transition. As I grew and then had kids (2 boys!) I found my way back to my creative roots as I longed for the sea. From there, Wild Sea Company was born and named.
